Brian S. Dunn is an Associate Attorney with Hoover Slovacek LLP, where he represents property owners, management companies, and investors in landlord-tenant, real-estate, and property-related litigation throughout Texas. Licensed to practice in Texas since 2009, Mr. Dunn focuses on lease enforcement, evictions, property code compliance, and commercial contract disputes, appearing regularly in justice, county, and district courts across the state.
Before joining Hoover Slovacek LLP, Mr. Dunn served with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), gaining extensive experience in commercial lending, bankruptcy, disaster recovery programs, and business regulatory compliance. His work with the SBA provided valuable insight into federal and state compliance frameworks, risk management, and the practical realities of business operations.
Mr. Dunn earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Appalachian School of Law and studied at the University of Texas Austin and the University of Texas Arlington where he received his Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems. He is known for his ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance that clients can readily understand and apply. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Dunn advises clients on data privacy, records management, and compliance matters under the Texas Property Code, Texas Business & Commerce Code, and other laws governing property ownership and management.
