Kelly Fisher is an Associate Attorney at Hoover Slovacek in their Estate Planning and Probate division.
Kelly earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas School of Law in 2024. While at UT Law, she was involved in the Texas Business Law Society, the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas & Energy Law, the Women’s Law Caucus, and the Texas Law Aggie Society.
Prior to attending law school, Kelly graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies with Honors, focusing on Politics and Diplomacy, and a Minor in Spanish. She then earned a Certificate of Advanced International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
Kelly worked at Allen Boone Humphries Robinson LLP in Austin throughout the 89th Texas Legislative Session before returning to her hometown in Houston. As a lobbyist, she drafted, filed, and tracked bills and resolutions while forming relationships with the Legislators and their staff. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading and writing reviews of her books, trying to earn the favor of her family cats, and attempting elaborate recipes far too late in the day.
